A wise man once said Akihito’s interactions with Mirai were typical KyoAni, whereas his interactions with Mitsuki were typical SHAFT. That has never held truer than in this episode.

Here’s the first episode of our second show this season! As I mentioned in our Fall Plans announcement, this is actually a pretty special project for me because White Album Second Season was the first TV anime series I ever worked on, exactly four years ago (and oh my God the nostalgia is incredible).
If you’re wondering whether or not you need to watch the two seasons of the original White Album before watching this, the answer is no. The two series don’t really have anything to do with each other, save for a few Easter Eggs for nostalgia’s sake. It’s a completely new story with new characters etc.

And so begins Fall 2013. Let’s kick things off with our first release of the season—one that the team was really excited to work on. We’ll try and get this out faster from next week on, and hopefully we’ll have some revamped karaoke as well.
You can never say much about a show after only one episode, but I have to say this particular show seems decent enough and looks absolutely phenomenal. Holy shit, that OP and ED.

As Summer 2013 winds down, I’m sure most of us are already looking forward to the new season of anime. We’ve decided to break with tradition a little bit and announce our tentative plans early before confirming whether or not these shows will be simulcast.
Here goes!
For those of you who aren’t familiar with our simulcast policies, we almost certainly will not pick up shows that are simulcasted less than 12 hours late at HQ resolutions (i.e. 720p).
TL;DR, these plans are tentative and subject to change depending on simulcast schedules.
There will be another announcement confirming our Fall 2013 plans late September/early October. See you next season!
