Ok so yeah this isn’t a UTW release but it’s a solo project I finally completed and released under the tag of socialist group Commie, my fellow comrades~.
tl;dr They’re a bunch of cool guys and fun to work with!
Thanks to Koda for always being cool about using GG’s scripts and for the awesome TL GG did for this show. Yeah some of the swearing that Akane rattles out isn’t there literally, but basically the way it’s voiced is the equivalent of using the same words. This is one of those shows a less literal translation makes so much better, cause it’s really just a fun show none of that serious business stuff. And thanks to Raze for getting me the BDiSO’s so I could encode “HIM” this show! Worked out well at the end anyhow!

I’ve just added a patch download to fix the out of sync audio on the Natsuru & Akane Dressing Room Omake. Turns out I muxed the wrong flac file with it! (This means I had two files named similarly and the wrong one happened to be the first one!)
Just run the patch in the same directory with the Dressing Room omake, and just in case Windows does something randomly retarded, best copy the mkv over to another directory just to be safe, then unrar the patch in there, and run the batch file. Then Presto fixed mkv~

BD 1-6 containing episodes 1-12 (2 eps per BD). In other words, it’s the whole series.
shouldn’t it be BD Vol.01-06?
I don’t see why it has to be. I’ve always used BDn format to refer to Volume. ie. BD1 = BD Vol. 1. It’s just shorthand form of writing BD Vol. 1 anyhow.

Nah I have no plans on doing 720p for it unfortunately. I only ever intended to do a 1080p release because the BD quality is pretty good.

Yeah Season 2 was announced in August by TBS on twitter. Not sure when it airs yet, probably 2 or 3 seasons time of a guess.
any chance that there will be mp4 versions on your releases. i love the fact that you guys do avi files because i like watching anime on my ps3 because it has a bigger screen. mp4 is another supported file format for the ps3. i just wanted to know if you had any plans.

Thanks for the extra stuff, but I can’t agree to that. GG changed many of those lines on purpose to piss the leechers off. Their “literal” interpretation of some lines, not only Akane but more importantly Shizuku, is much harsher than what was actually said. Since their Kampfer translation, I try to avoid their releases whenever possible.

Kampfer is a fun show, you are taking it too seriously. I honestly found their liberal translations of some lines to be hilarious and actually added to the enjoyment of the show. Koda’s editing can be priceless at times. What you gotta consider is the seriousness of the show, if it’s a more serious show then yes liberal translations/editing can ruin it, otherwise it’s more of a comedy/silly show then they can benefit it more than they hurt it most of the time.
I asked Raze to translate it, he said he was lazy and use GG’s translation cause it was fine. There was no point him translating it again when they translated it well in the first place.
I agree with him completely, yeah Koda went a little nuts editing at times, but it was fine in the end in my humble opinion. It didn’t bother me the least.

Great job for uploading the Blu-Ray release we all appreciate it.
That said I wasn’t at all interested in the in-your-face fan service that the first few episodes presented. It was until near the end when there appeared to be something going on between Natusuru and Shizuku that I finally became interested. All the tension and drama between those two was building up the “final” episode (11) but then it all just went sinking down when the three girls kissed him at once. Way to ruin it.

I had hopes that maybe the light novels it originated from would prove to be less disastrous than the actual anime. That being said…it finally ended with him choosing Akane over Shizuku–literally leaving Shizuku in tears. I’ll spend the rest of the day trying to erase this series from my mind -_-
