I guess that brings us to the end of the Kaoru arc; I found its conclusion pretty meh.  Next week we’ll have fluffy underclassman Nakata Sae.
Things really didn’t go as planned today during the subbing process for multiple reasons, hence the delay.  I practically went solo for half the episode, so any awkward English, typos, bad timing, or whatnot you may encounter in this release today is my fault; feel free to e-crucify me if you so wish.
Anyway, new poll for the Kaoru arc.  I’ll also do the Kaoru monologue sometime later, so keep checking back!  Those of you who missed the Haruka monologue can find it HERE.
EDIT:: Finally did the Kaoru monologue.  I referred to Junichi as third-person in this one for the sake of line flow.

I understand those feelings now.
Because I fell in love with Junichi, I believe I learned a little about what falling in love is.
I’m now able to accept the whole situation with my mom thanks to that, I guess.
I’m going to meet the man my mom likes soon.
The man who might become my new dad.
And then, I also want to introduce Junichi to them both.
I mean, it’s because he’s… he’s important to me.
Hehe, he’d probably say, “Why do I have to be there?!”
And when he meets them, he’d probably be really nervous.
But even if that happens, he’ll stay by my side, won’t he?

Kusion wanted me to use a Miya pic that Ershin uploaded but I didn’t want to because I wanted to have a picture of Kaoru instead so I suggested the picture above where you can see Kaoru’s chest but Kusion raged and he threatened to break my window with a can of pop but how do you break a window with a can of pop I don’t know if it’s possible but Ershin got me the screenshot anyway and so here we are I think this is a pretty cool episode and I hope you will all enjoy it as much as we did working on it.

Okay, so let’s cover the points of this song in a new segment I like to call…

KUSION–CHAN’S CHECK!

Okay, so I’m sure everyone got that reference.

Kusion-chan’s Check™ is a new segment over here at Unlimited Translation Works. It’s the part of the day where I look over godly shit and talk about how godly it is. Sure, no songs I list out have any real cons, but I’ll add one or two to shut some people up.

Today on Kusion-chan’s Check™, we have Satou Rina singing the ending theme to Amagami SS, starting of course at episode 5. The song is entitled: ????????? Kitto Ashita wa… (Tomorrow For Sure, Definitely Tomorrow, etc.)

The character voice is Tanamachi Kaoru.

All right. Enough small-talk. Let’s get this shit rolling. It’s a quick review (fuck you, it’s 1 minute 30 seconds long), but I’m sure you get the gist of it.

PROS

1) The melody is smooth. I mean, really, I can listen to this all day. Which reminds me, SINGLE WHERE?

2) Her voice? How can I word this… It’s like an angel is singing to me. It’s very soft-spoken.

3) The lyrics are fantastic. Maybe I’m just being gay for like this song.

CONS

1) Like any other fucking song you’ll hear in Japan, you’ll notice they like to use ENGRISH here and there. Do I care? No (nor should you). Does it make sense? Not really.

2) There are no other cons because she is fucking perfect.

If I was married to Satou Rina, I’d probably ask her to wake me up in her singing voice. Can you think of a better way to wake up in the morning? I didn’t think so.

Maybe she could add in a bit of that tsundere Mikoto side. I should stop myself now before I get too into it.

Anyways, I have been getting too caught up in this “Kaoru” business. My body, of course, being ready and all.

Misaka is a lot more badass in the manga, though…

It’s true. Though I’m such a huge supporter/fan of the anime (both, in fact), I have to say that I much rather enough manga-style-Misaka more than anime-style-Misaka. The voice is a huge plus, though. But I can say this for any manga character I truly enjoy.

If you have not yet read the manga, but are watching the anime, I highly recommend you do so. It’s a very interesting read for a very interesting show. Considering a majority of people haven’t probably read much, I won’t post much about the manga. I don’t want to spoil it for you and all.

Misaka Mikoto: Start Loving Her

While Raze takes his sweet ass time translating Amagami SS Instead of timing Amagami SS, let me rap to you a bit about A Certain Fucking Sexy Railgun (going by names which include: Misaka Mikoto, Misaka-sama, and the oh-so-famous BiriBiri).

Now, while I am a fan of the various other characters found on Toaru Majutu no Index (A Certain Magical Index) and Toaru Kagaku no Railgun (A Certain Scientific Railgun), I have to say that Misaka Mikoto is by far my favorite character in this series. Hell, let me go as far as saying: she is the most lovable character ever. Now, some people may not agree. Some people prefer the various other characters found on Toaru Majutu no Index and Toaru Kagaku no Railgun. I’m not even going to bother listing out the others.

Let’s get back to the subject at hand. Misaka Mikoto.

What’s there not to love about her?

1) She’s sexy. Obviously. If you need proof, look up.

2) She’s a fucking Tsundere. Yes, I like them, and you should too.

3) She has an adorable smile. PROVE ME WRONG?

4) She’s also cute-as-hell when she’s blushing.

5) She has a cute hairpin, which, in the second season of Toaru Majutu no Index you’ll see an even cuter one.

6) She can fucking electrocute the shit out of you. Now that’s a turn on.

7) Look at that swimsuit. Can you say “FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF”? I can.

There is absolutely no reason to hate or dislike her. I wouldn’t say she’s the best Tsundere or anything. But hell, she does a pretty damned good job of being one!

Although I apologize. One thing I have yet to mention is that: no mater how cute and tsuntsun she may be, she’s still a badass.

How could I possibly forget? She’s a Level 5 Electromaster (out of seven people, she ranks third). Of course she can fuck your shit up (unless of course you’re Touma, in which case, you’re badass enough already).

Let’s face it though. As Misaka fans, we can only go so far with the whole Kuroko vs. Misaka shit. A Level 4 Teleporter, I mean c’mon. Give me a break already. Kuroko has proven time and time again that she definitely avoid her “Oneesama’s” electric shocks. Let’s just call it even, shall we?

Okay, enough about Kuroko. Let’s take a bit of a look at Misaka’s “badass” side.
