Fate/Zero S1 Episodes 5-9 + SP2

Just a notification that episodes 5-9 and SP2 of the Fate/Zero Season 1 Bluray are now available for download via XDCC in our IRC channel or through DDL:

Amagami SS Plus – 12

Ignoring how we could all see the twist coming a mile away, the fact that Haruka’s jump would make an Olympic champion proud, and the random abuse of Sae’s rack (who, thankfully, only had like 3 lines this week)… this episode was nevertheless a sweet and wonderful conclusion to Haruka’s after arc, with some quirky jokes and golden remarks along the way.
I think we’ve also learned more than we ever wanted to know about the Morishima family in just these two episodes. I blame the grandparents.
Looks like we have a random hot springs episode next week that appears to be packed full of fanservice. See you next week for the last Amagami SS Plus episode!

This episode was god-tier in so many ways. I guess they really were saving the best till last.
We should’ve seen it coming when we learned that Haruka’s middle name was “Lovely”, but this is on a whole new level. Pretty amazing family that Haruka’s from.
And yes, the dialogue really does say Jessica has green eyes, but this somehow failed to carry over to the animation. I’ll attribute this discrepancy to AIC screwing up their communication or something.
NB: I’ve updated DF with the v2 mux, and you can grab the patch for the v2 below the HD in the link. This fixes the partial encoding glitch on frame 7829, caused by an intermittent random memory error that I haven’t been able track down the cause of yet.

They used one of those artist illustrations for the opening sponsor screen as well as the ending one. It’s silly to include the opening sponsor screen when we haven’t been doing so for the last 9 episodes, so we’re using it, at 1280×720 resolution, as our release picture instead.
Thank god we’re done with Little Miss Earrape and that butt-annoying narrator. I don’t think I could stand them (especially the latter) any longer.
I already can’t wait for Haruka’s arc. You can’t really blame me, with an episode title like that.
