We have a new episode with a new character! It was one of those “tread really carefully with your jargon translations or you’ll screw something up” episodes, but I think I’ve covered my bases.
As far as I know, the Olympics shouldn’t be affecting the air schedules for Accel World and Sword Art Online. You can check back here next week for the next episode.

We’re all extremely busy, so it’s unlikely we’ll be doing the BDs. We’ll most likely sub the OVA though.

We’re a little late tonight, but here you go anyway!
CR delayed their simulcast by an additional hour compared to last week, so we decided to do our own translation. Unless CR suddenly starts on-the-dot simulcasting again, we’ll probably keep doing that too.
As for the episode, I think they adapted the Red-nosed Reindeer side story pretty well. Please enjoy!

Tari Tari – Chapter 01

On behalf of UTW, I am happy to present to you our first scanlation release: Chapter 1 of the Tari Tari manga! This manga is being serialized in the monthly manga magazine Gangan Joker, so you can expect approximately one release per month.
Most of the UTW founding members (including myself) actually got into the whole fantranslation business starting with manga projects, so this release represents a significant point in UTW’s history. It’s pretty exciting for us to revisit our roots together after such a long foray in the anime scene, and we hope you enjoy the result!
Once things work themselves out and the cogs begin to turn on their own, you might start seeing more manga releases, both here and… well, you know where. *wink*

Kill Me Baby – Batch

Turns out the batch for Kill Me Baby was “ready” since the Winter 2012 season ended (late March this year), but due to some epic miscommunicating, nobody got round to throwing it out until now.
Only episode 1 has been v2’d for the batch (episodes 2, 4 and 6 were v2’d while the series was airing). We won’t be batching the mp4 releases.
Now, what will you do, Oribe Yasuna?

Congratulations Congratulation! That’s a LOT they cut out for this episode. It also looks like they’ll be cramming the Red-nosed Reindeer side story into one 20-minute episode for next week.

We also got new OP and ED themes this week! The new OP theme is pretty cool (no prizes for guessing what the rapper is screaming when the logo appears). As for the new ED, we thought it was cute.
