And with this, Index comes to a close (well, the TV series at least). Like I said before, it’s been a fun ride, but now it’s time to focus on what’s important. Blu-rays, obviously! We’re doing our best to re-edit and QC every episode so that we don’t get anymore :derp: mistakes (that’s why, if anyone was wondering, it takes us so long).
The episodes that were v2’d (the 720p releases, that is; the XviDs are untouched):
ep16 – The ED is now perfectly aligned.
ep17 – Added missing subjects and removed extra “MISAKA’s” that were found.
ep22 – We changed the next episode title to “Before the War,” just so it matches with the next episode. This also has a new encode (thus a v1).
ep23 – All the names are now fixed. Someone also complained about the font I chose, so I changed it (screw you).
ep24 – Fixed a missing subject and new encode.
All fixed episodes have updated OP/ED lyrics (so it may change from ep18-21).
One thing to note: We left in two commercials for ep24. Nothing big, just advertises the Index novels and the Index/Railgun PSP games. If you enjoy the anime, you’ll enjoy the novels even more! Oh, and the games too. So go pre-order it!
Anyway, enough ranting. I hope you all enjoy this, and I hope anyone who enjoyed the series and wants the downloads sticks around!

And with this we say goodbye to our beloved Index. It’s been a fun run: starting with gg-UTW, moving to solo-UTW, and finishing it off with our buddies for UTW-Mazui. Would we do it again? Sure, why not. We all know there’s going to be a season 3, anyway.
Index has proven to be the biggest clusterfuck project we’ve ever had. We even once had an episode translated by 3 people at once! But all-in-all, it was fun.
We’ll release a batch with v2’s and such later this weekend, and we’ll release blu-ray scripts as they come along (blu-ray scripts being heavily edited, of course).

Moshiburner (TL/TLC) – What do shoelaces and Kinshomokuroku II have in common? LOOSE ENDS! BAAHAHAHAHAHA–…Sorry. tbh I liked awaki(red-head, move pt) and Accelerator this time around. I’m seriously wondering how long they’re going to keep up with this “nope, we’re not done yet” thing though. Well, decent s2 overall. fun stuff.
Raze (TL/TLC/Edit/QC) – I pretty much went from TL/edit/QC to edit/QC to just edit to finally doing nothing at all except for releasing, but I’ve gotta hand it over to this ‘ere team for doing such a great job. As for the series itself… it had attractive females all over the place so that helped until the plot finally kicked in towards the end.
Ulrezaj (TL/Edit/QC) – Of all the protagonists I’ve translated for, Touma by far mumbles the most.
Kusion (Edit/Timing/Typesetting) – I really enjoyed working on this shit. I ALSO HELPED MOSHI TRANSLATE THIS ONE EPISODE, IT’S GOOD, TRUST ME.
goof (lazy typesetter who never did a damn thing) – I think this is the show I’ve enjoyed working on the most lately… typesetting a show with barely any signs is the best.

Happy Birthday, Raze!
Apparently, yesterday was our good leader’s birthday. Yes, this is Raze.
Alas, we all forgot it was his birthday (I blame it on him not telling us).
Oh, yeah. That’s my waifu—I asked her to make something nice for Raze. Sorry I can’t help, Mikoto! I’m just bad at baking ;_; (she’s going to shock me for not helping her out, maybe I should go see if she needs some help… hmm, but she does have Kuroko helping her… wait, that may be bad! Okay, gonna go make sure Kuroko doesn’t do anything stupid!)
What the UTW staff did for his birthday:
– __ar wrote some AviSynth script to detect scene changes, obviously a waste of time that could have been used to say “Happy Birthday, Raze!”
– Kusion fapped to some Mikoto pictures hidden on his HDD. This was obviously the best use of time.
– Nikon stayed useless, as he usually is. He’s not a good friend.
– Ershin was out with his IRL waifu. Good man!
– Moshiburner was probably studying or some shit.
– fnord was dicking around, probably trolling some poor sap.
– commander`A (who’s this?) wished Raze a happy birthday. Too bad no one cares about him.
