Alright, here’s the batch information:

  • Episodes 1-5 have been Mazui-fied (default style, “Such misfortune” etc.) and had some minor errors fixed. These use the original encodes we had for episodes 1-5 as we no longer have the original .ts files to re-encode the first six episodes to include the eyecatch. Archivers of our version need not worry, however, as we will be doing the Blurays.
  • Episode 10 received a new encode. No script changes were made.
  • Episode 12 has been v2’d to fix two typos (one of them major enough to warrant it).
  • All other episodes are the same as the weekly release versions.

Here’s the v2 for episode 14. We fixed whatever translation errors were there, and the episode went through a re-edit. We also styled whatever signs there were, and fixed up the ED a bit. The timing was fine, thankfully.
Oh, and to everyone who posted saying our Italian was wrong: we removed it all.

If you were content with the original version, you don’t need to download this. And to those who want it, but don’t want to re-download it, we’ll be releasing a patch.

We should have the batch (1-14) up by tonight. If not, by Friday.

With these batches, we bid farewell to the Fall 2010 anime season. Those of you who prefer to wait for a series to finish before downloading can now dig in!
None of the releases has been changed from the weekly release versions for both Yosuga no Sora batches. For Amagami SS, episodes 1-4 received new encodes, episodes 1-15 have been re-QC’d (that’s as far as I got before deciding there was little point in continuing), and the confusing typo in episode 17 has also been fixed. In other words, episodes 16 and 18-25 in this batch are the same as the weekly release versions.
We did not and will not re-encode the Amagami SS XviD releases to include the various tweaks and fixes made for the HD releases during the re-QC, so all the files in the XviD batch are the same as the weekly release versions.

Amagami SS – 25 (END)

With this, the Amagami SS TV series is complete! It’s been a wonderful 6 months, but all things come to an end and it’s time to bid this series goodbye. And what a great concluding episode this was! It wraps up the whole Amagami plot nicely while serving as a recap episode of sorts; all within 24 minutes of play time.
We will of course continue to work on the BDs for this show, and as the scrolling text after the eyecatch was so thoughful to remind us, there will be a Miya extra episode included in the final BD/DVD volume. So I guess this isn’t really the end yet!
As our flagship solo project, almost all of the UTW staff have stepped in to help out for an episode or two, but I’d like to present to you the core team who has taken it upon themselves to show up every week over 6 months at the appointed time to bring you these releases. And without further ado!
Raze (Translator/Editor/QC): Oh boy I’m going to really miss this show. I really am. Also, Tsukasa = Ai = Stalker-tan > (Kanae) > Kaoru > Haruka > Sae > Rihoko.
Ershin (Assistant Translator): This is one of the better harem shows I’ve ever watched… and probably because it didn’t try to work as a harem. I had a ton of good times working on it, and more than anything else, I’m grateful for all the support you all have given us. ^_^v Until next time!
Kusion (Timer): There were only three good girls for this series: Ai-chan, Tsukasa-chan, and now Stalker-chan <3
Kemeko (Typesetter, 1st half): (Kemeko has moved on to greener pastures. Best of luck to him!)
fnord (Typesetter, 2nd half): Actually, I don’t really know what Amagami is or was about, since the only arc which I saw was Tsukasa’s (she’s pretty cool though). Well, I suppose it must have been a solid show.
ar (Encoder/Kara): Amagami turned out to be a lot more fun to work on than I originally expected, and thus I’ve had an enjoyable 2 seasons working on it. It’ll be missed~ I won’t miss the shitty banding though, good riddance to that!
And of course, thanks go to gg Fansubs and Eclipse Productions for providing high-quality .ts raws for us to work on!
We’ll release a batch sometime next week, which will also include txt file translations of each of the girl’s monologues, numbered as to where I think they take place in the series.

WARNING: This show is pretty explicit in more ways than one. You have been forewarned.
This release marks the completion of yet another series! Working on this series was pretty enjoyable, and we definitely had fun doing it with our bros at Ryuumaru. Most of us followed this series either for the heavy drama or the porn (or the twincest…) but it’s definitely been quite a ride for all of us. Unfortunately, none of us wants to work on the BDs, so it’s pretty unlikely that we will.
And without further ado, the people who brought you this series!

Amagami SS – 24

Here’s Amagami SS episode 24, also the ending to Tsukasa’s arc. And what an ending this was! The perfect kind of episode to sit down with a hot drink and a blanket in a cold winter night. I had to translate this in the dead hours of the night, but boy was it worth it.
So I apparently made a mistake last week and announced that this would be the last episode, only to discover that a certain episode 25 starring Kamizaki Risa will be airing in the midnight hours of Christmas Eve. Will we work on it straight away? Probably, but that’s difficult to say at this point.
This means the staff curtain call and all the tears will also be postponed until next week… but for now, we have for you two new polls! I’ll try and find some time to do a post on the results of the earlier Amagami SS arc polls.
And last but not least… new banner! I literally had a mental orgasm when I saw it. Credit for the banner goes to the wonderful Kusion.

Amagami SS – Tsukasa Monologue

*PANT… WHEEZE…*
I’m still kinda recovering from this monologue. The end was almost too much for me to take.
[spoiler]My name is Ayatsuji Tsukasa.
I am the class representative of class 2-A at Kibitou High School.
I am also the 57th Founder’s Festival planning committee president.
I am a brilliant student who is well-trusted by teachers and students alike.
That’s the me I’ve been pretending to be this whole time.
There are a lot of classmates and teachers who depend on me.
But none of them know about the real me.
They would surely distance themselves from me if they did.
I do what I want, am annoying, want things to myself, and am cocky.
I also get jealous easily… and am a little lonely.
But someone who admires me despite knowing the real me has appeared.
It’s weird for me to say this, but…
“You’re too curious for your own good.
“I wouldn’t approach that unreasonable girl if I were you.
“Not like you have anything to gain from it.”
Though it’s kinda depressing to say that about myself.
Anyway, that Mr. Curious is my classmate Tachibana-kun.
He’s indecisive, an idiot, and clumsy,
but for some reason tries his best to follow my every command. What a weirdo.
Why does he work so hard?
What is he working for?
I don’t understand.
But as for the me who, before she knew it, couldn’t stop thinking about Tachibana-kun…
I understand her even less.
What’s good about him?
No, that’s not it.
It’s not about what’s good and bad about him. I’m just curious about him…
And so all I think about in the end is Tachibana-kun.
It’s so much fun to think about how to toy with him by making him do this and that tomorrow…
…that I can’t concentrate on my studying.
He’s slow, but rarely…
Like, really rarely, he does something thoughtful.
He also tries his best on things he can’t do.
He couldn’t type to save his life, but… well, I suppose he’s an average typist now.
I mean, I took all the trouble to teach him, so it’s no wonder he can do it now…
Anyway, there hasn’t been anyone like him around me up until now.
Don’t tell me… I…
…l-like… him?
No way! For me to like someone as useless as him?!
I’d obviously pick someone better!
Hmm, but what makes a good guy?
Appearance? Personality? Intelligence? Money?
Hmm…
Stop! So I just ended up thinking about him again!

Why don’t I just make Tachibana-kun mine?
