MY POST HAS BEEN STALLED FOR THIS:
So I pull into my driveway after my morning class. No big deal, nothing new. I enter through the back door and start bringing in bins (trash day and all). About 20 minutes after chilling back getting ready for my night class, I remember that I need to get the mail.
I begin to walk to the door and see that the mail has, indeed, come. I open the door and start grabbing my mail and looking through what’s crap and what isn’t…

Translation was actually done about three hours after airtime, but we didn’t get a work raw until much later.  Every one of us also had to leave for dinner one after the other, which delayed the release even further.  We also went ahead and did signs we really didn’t have to because we’re awesome.
This was a really good episode though, with lots of Miya and Sae action.  The butt-annoying narrator is back and creepy as ever.

Ok so yeah this isn’t a UTW release but it’s a solo project I finally completed and released under the tag of socialist group Commie, my fellow comrades~.
tl;dr They’re a bunch of cool guys and fun to work with!
Thanks to Koda for always being cool about using GG’s scripts and for the awesome TL GG did for this show. Yeah some of the swearing that Akane rattles out isn’t there literally, but basically the way it’s voiced is the equivalent of using the same words. This is one of those shows a less literal translation makes so much better, cause it’s really just a fun show none of that serious business stuff. And thanks to Raze for getting me the BDiSO’s so I could encode “HIM” this show! Worked out well at the end anyhow! 😀

I’ve just added a patch download to fix the out of sync audio on the Natsuru & Akane Dressing Room Omake. Turns out I muxed the wrong flac file with it! (This means I had two files named similarly and the wrong one happened to be the first one!)
Just run the patch in the same directory with the Dressing Room omake, and just in case Windows does something randomly retarded, best copy the mkv over to another directory just to be safe, then unrar the patch in there, and run the batch file. Then Presto fixed mkv~

So here it is Angel Beats Volume 3. Nice and early as always. There is an extra 38 seconds in Episode 5, which other than a non-hacked-for-tv ED, is all it accounts for from what I can figure out. Also only one Creditless Ending this time around, so boo to that.

Amagami SS ED1 – Kimi no Hitomi ni Koishiteru

After we released Kaoru’s ED, we had a few requests to do this one as well. I actually did the TL for it on Monday, but ar fell ill for a while and couldn’t really do the k-timing until more recently. It’s been out long enough that I didn’t think it was a huge priority anyway.
Thanks go to ar for the k-timing, and Kusion for the cool effects. Well, and to me for translating it and pestering them to do it, I suppose. >_>
Anyway, I hope all the Haruka fans enjoy a little taste of nostalgia. I was pretty surprised with her vocal range in this full version; not a bad singer at all.
I’ll bug them to put up a FLAC or something as well, soon.

Kuttsukiboshi – Part 1

Surprise project!  … kinda.
Kuttsukiboshi is a yuri/drama anime by Primastea (who brought you Issho ni Training) released during Comic Market 78.  This is the first part; the second part is scheduled for release in the summer of 2011, presumably during Comic Market 80.
The LQ tag simply means that we did not encode the video for the release (ie. a Share/PD raw, or a raw from a raws group).  The subtitles should be perfectly fine, and of the typical UTW style.  We may release this with a better video once we get a copy of the original DVD.
As for my thoughts on this, it’s not bad, but it’s not mind-blowing amazing either.  Give it a watch and see for yourself.
