Well, the TV station royally trolled us this episode by temporarily rescheduling the show into a standard definition timeslot, meaning that this episode was aired in SD only.
We’ve used the TV broadcast for our usual 480p release, and for now we’ve put out a temporary 720p release using the only HD source available – CR’s video. We’ll be replacing this release with a proper HDTV encode when it airs on another channel in a couple of days, so if you want the best possible quality I’d recommend waiting for that. In any case, here it is, and I’m certainly looking forward to seeing how they wrap this one up next week.
Edit: As promised, episode 12’s 720p release has been replaced with an updated version encoded from HDTV.

Sorry for the delay. I made __ar re-release because I forgot to make a script for changing Biribiri to Sparky. Remember to change the script to the second track for the better version!

I’ve also made a poll, as the Index move has been uploaded. I want to know whether or not you’d like to see us sub the camrip and release it, or to just wait for the blu-rays that come out in August.

The camrip will have Chinese subtitles, and the quality is fairly low. Here’s an example screenshot, including their song translations. We would add the subtitles in a readable place.

I gave the Photokano PSP game a spin the other day and it’s pretty fun. You basically go around the school talking up girls (which takes the form of a minigame) and making them like you better. If you do well enough in the conversations, the girl will let you take photos of her.
You can’t just take any photo you want, though. For example, if you go low-angle too much during the photo session (like in the release screenshot), the girl gets mad at you and pouts, and that particular shot is guaranteed to be bad.
I’m a horrible Photokano photographer though. I have no idea what makes a good photo in the game.

Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. – Batch

Two years after the show finished airing on Japanese TV, the stars have finally aligned correctly and the Ano Hana batch now sees the light of day. Better late than never, I say!
Episode 6 got a new encode, and all 11 episodes have script updates. This batch is encoded in 8-bit because that’s what we were still using two years ago.
I have no idea when THORA will finish the BDs, but last I checked (and this was months ago) they had one episode left to finish. It won’t take another two years… I think.
Please enjoy! If you’ve never watched this series before, do it. It’s good.
